Regenerative Strategy
Helping organizations turn sustainability and regenerative ambitions into strategy, systems, and action.
Organizations often know where they want to go before they have the internal capacity to get there. I work with leaders at these moments to clarify direction, build the systems and partnerships needed to move, and establish the capacity for the work to continue from within.

Where Regenerative Strategy Becomes Action
Strategy & Direction
Clarify where your organization is going, what sustainability & regeneration means in your context, and the priorities that can move vision into action.
Leadership & Alignment
Bring leaders, teams, and stakeholders into greater alignment around the purpose, responsibilities, and choices required for meaningful change.
Systems & Structure
Build the internal structures, processes, and decision making capacity needed to carry the work beyond a single initiative or individual.
Implementation & Capacity
Move from strategy into practice while developing the people, partnerships, and organizational capacity needed for the work to continue from within.

What is your organization trying to build?
New sustainability or regenerative initiative.
A strategy that needs to become operational.
New funding or commitments creating pressure to deliver.
A team or function that needs to be built.
A key sustainability hire before the surrounding system exists.
Leadership that needs alignment around what comes next.
Let's explore what comes next.
If you are navigating a significant sustainability or regenerative initiative, building new organizational capacity, or working to move an existing strategy into action, let’s talk.

I work alongside leaders to build what is needed now while strengthening the organization’s ability to carry the work forward.
Hi, I'm Scott
I help leaders and organizations see the larger system, understand what is trying to emerge, and build the conditions for it to take form.
My life’s work has centered on a simple question: How do living systems participate more consciously in their own unfolding?

I am a regenerative systems strategist, educator, organizational leader, and shamanic practitioner. My work has moved across engineering, sustainability, food systems, human flourishing, organizational strategy, and the deeper study of how people and living systems change.

I earned my Ph.D. from Cornell University in Biological and Environmental Engineering, with additional study in systems engineering and human behavior and design. I later served on the faculty of Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability, where I directed the Sustainability and Happiness Research Lab. My work has also included nonprofit executive leadership, regenerative food systems, community based initiatives, and helping organizations translate ambitious ideas into programs, partnerships, and structures capable of carrying them forward.

Alongside this work, I have spent years studying human transformation through shamanic practice, Depth Hypnosis, and integrative healing. That work has deepened rather than separated my understanding of organizations. Organizations are living human systems. Strategy, culture, leadership, relationship, place, and purpose are never as separate as we pretend they are.
